PERSONAL HISTORY: Born in 2370, Watts grew up with his parents aboard Starbase Geo 335. in 2374 a catastrophic failure in the experimental Trilithium core occured when he was the only one present. The resulting explosion injured him and killed many on the base. In 2384 he joined starfleet at age 14, passing the tests with uncanny ability. Some concerns were raised about cheating but nothing was prooved. He graduated as a member of the Nova Squad in 2387 and was drafted to the USS Explorer, NX 71131 as chief helmsman.
